Teachers are forever learning because of their love for teaching. Blogging is a learning expereince for teachers. How to integrate blogging in the classroom to enhance student learning will be an advantagement in teacher pedagogy. Of course the challenge, which could also be an enemy to embarking on this expereince, is time. Two thumbs up for all teachers with the courage, and with the time, to integrate blogging into their curriculum.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI am a fellow Walden classmate, and I agree with you about blogging. I really don't think that all teachers can blog in their classrooms. I have not figured out how to incorporate blogging in my woodshop class yet.
Fayette,
ReplyDeleteHow are you? I hope you are enjoying your bloggin experience and are not too overwhelmed. I agree that time may be our enemy, but I am still happy that we are learning to "keep up" with our students technologically. I feel so far behind them and am concerned they need our guidance.
Happy rainy day,
Stephanie
I also agree time is going to be a problem. However, time could also be the motivator. I have students who are slow in completing their work. Maybe allowing them to blog when they are finished with their assignment will speed them up a little. On the downside to that is they may rush to finish and not do a good job.
ReplyDeleteI am down the hall from the computer lab, so I am fortunate that I can send my kids down when they have free time.
